Got Nerve Games — documentation

01, getting started

What Got Nerve is

Got Nerve is a six-seat cartoon Russian roulette table game played for real USDG on Robinhood Chain, with every spin committed before the first click and checkable afterwards.

on this page

Got Nerve is a table game for two to six players. Everyone wears a hood. One gun goes around the table, and one bullet sits somewhere in its cylinder. You buy in with USDG, click, and hope the bang lands on somebody else.

Pass the gun. Keep the hood on.

The game in one minute

  • A table has six seats, and two to six players are dealt in to each game.
  • The gun starts at a random seat and passes clockwise. On your turn you must click at least once.
  • Each click is either empty or the bang. The bullet is fixed before the first click, in one of the cylinder's live chambers.
  • When a hood is shot, cash bursts out of it and flies to the survivors. It is a cartoon: hoods always stay on, and there is no blood and no body, just a REKT stamp and a slumped, grey-eyed character.
  • There are two modes. In Classic one round is played and one hood loses. In Last One Standing rounds repeat until one hood is left and takes the pot. See Classic and Last One Standing.

Where your money lives

You keep one balance, your stash. You load up by depositing USDG into an on-chain vault, you play from the stash, and you cash out by withdrawing back to your wallet. Between games your money sits in the vault, not in an account the server can spend freely. Custody and your money lays out exactly what the server can and cannot do.

You play against the other players, never against the house. The house takes a rake from what is won, and that rake is its only revenue from the games themselves.

Why you can check the spin

Every game is committed before the first click and revealed after the bang. Your browser also adds its own random seed, so the server cannot choose the outcome alone. After the game you can re-derive everything in your browser and compare it with what happened. The provably fair spin has the recipe, a worked example with real numbers, and the honest limits.

What you need

  • A browser wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby. There are no accounts, passwords or emails (Connecting a wallet).
  • USDG on Robinhood Chain, loaded into your stash (Loading up).
  • A little ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas, the fee for on-chain transactions.
  • To be 18 or older and in a place where this is allowed.

You do not need $NERVE to play the four public tiers. Holding or staking $NERVE or owning a hood NFT unlocks perks and the two VIP tiers.

Try it for free first

The demo table runs on demo chips against bots, with no wallet and no chain involved. Bots exist only in demo mode. At real-money tables there are no house bots: every seat is a person.
